AGPLAW Successfully Completes Tree Planting Initiative in Ayios Therapon
Last Sunday, February 8, AGPLAW successfully held its Tree Planting Day in Ayios Therapon, Limassol, a day that proved to be much more than an environmental action. It was a powerful day of hope, unity, and collective responsibility.
AGPLAW would like to sincerely thank everyone who joined us, as well as Prasini Aspida – Green Shield Cyprus (You Reforest Cyprus), for their invaluable support, dedication, and hands-on contribution in making this initiative possible.
The strong presence, energy, and support of all participants made a real and lasting impact, both for the local community and for the restoration of areas affected by the devastating fires of July 2025.
We were also honoured by the presence of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Neophytos Charalambides, who actively participated in the tree planting . His involvement highlighted the importance of collective action in environmental restoration efforts.
The participation of hundreds of volunteers was truly inspiring and sent a strong message to the residents of Ayios Therapon that they are not alone, and that there are people and organisations genuinely committed to helping their land turn green again.
The AGPLAW team was proud to stand alongside volunteers, partners, families, schools, and organisations, sharing smiles, teamwork, and a common purpose throughout the day.
A special thank you is extended to The Heritage Private School, whose students, staff, and families formed a truly powerful team.
Together, we achieved a valuable result:
🌳 More than 2,000 trees planted
👥 Over 2,000 participants in attendance
AGPLAW extends its heartfelt Thanks to Everyone who joined us!
This is how real change begins, together.
