Andrea is a Partner in AGPLAW’s Regulatory & Advisory practice, advising local and international clients on financial services regulation, data protection (GDPR) and broader regulatory compliance frameworks.

She works closely with financial services regulated entities, corporates and senior management teams, including FX brokers and market makers, funds and fund managers, EMIs and payment institutions, as well as banking institutions, supporting them on licensing and authorisation, ongoing regulatory compliance, governance, internal controls, regulatory reporting and risk management.

Her licensing and regulatory advisory work is multi-jurisdictional, covering not only Cyprus but also a range of offshore and international markets, including Seychelles, Mauritius, South Africa, and the UAE, selected Asian and South American jurisdictions, as well as other recognised regulatory centres.

In parallel, Andrea has developed strong expertise in data protection and privacy law, regularly advising on GDPR compliance and acting as Data Protection Officer (DPO) for clients across a wide range of industries. Clients value her pragmatic, business-oriented approach, particularly in sensitive matters involving regulators, audits, investigations and data protection risk.

Andrea’s experience spans multiple sectors, enabling her to approach regulatory and data protection matters with a holistic understanding of how regulation impacts day-to-day business operations, technology and decision-making.

Andrea holds an LLB from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an LL.M. in Commercial Law from the University of Cardiff (UK). She was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2010 and holds the CySEC Advanced Certificate.

She is fluent in English and Greek.
