Ioanna Martidi is an Associate Lawyer at AGPLAW, with a practice focused on civil and commercial litigation. She initially joined the firm as a trainee lawyer, where she developed a strong foundation in litigation practice, before further enhancing her experience as an Associate Lawyer.
Her practice covers corporate and shareholder disputes, banking litigation, debt recovery, probate applications, enforcement of foreign judgments, personal repayment proceedings and eviction matters. She regularly manages cases from an early advisory stage through to court proceedings, drafting pleadings, affidavits and legal opinions, conducting in-depth legal research and representing clients before the Cypriot courts
Ioanna has been involved in complex and high-value disputes, including proceedings before the Supreme Court, derivative actions and multi-party litigation. In parallel, she advises on family law matters, including divorce, maintenance and custody disputes, as well as creditor-side debt collection. Clients value her methodical approach, sound judgment and ability to guide them through disputes in a clear and composed manner, even in emotionally or procedurally demanding cases.
Ioanna holds an LLB from Democritus University of Thrace and an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the University of Leicester (UK). She was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2021 and is fluent in Greek and English.
