Kallistheni has extensive experience in establishing and restructuring internal legal departments, implementing AML/KYC compliance systems, and harmonizing corporate policies in line with international best practices, particularly within regulated sectors such as aviation, banking, international trade, and cultural institutions, including matters related to Art and Museum Law.
Her background includes practicing in Washington, DC with White & Case LLP and Shearman & Sterling LLP on international trade and arbitration matters, as well as representing Cyprus at the United Nations in New York.
She holds an LL.B. from the University of Wolverhampton, an LL.M. from The George Washington University, and a Diploma in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford. She is a member of the Committee of Shipping and The committee of Aviation of the Cyprus Bar Association.
